The name says it all. Although it’s no longer used for this purpose, you really get the bird’s eye view with this short, but rewarding quater mile hike. Take Reservoir Road, past the Biltmore. Turn right at the former firehouse and look for a road off to the left. Park along the road, but do not block the gate. Bring snowshoes in the winter.
