Tahoe City Golf Course is located in the heart of Tahoe City. It is a 9 hole course over 5261 yards with a par of 66 and 18 holes is an option as well. They have reasonable rates for green fees, rentals, and meals. It is a locals favorite due to the close proximity to town and is easy to get in a quick 9 after the work day is done. They offer golf cart, pull cart and club rentals as well as twilight rates. The restaurant and bar serves breakfast and lunch. It is a great place to revel in your shot of the day after a round of golf.
The Old Brockway Golf Course is located in Kings Beach just off of Hwy 267. There are 9 holes covering 3400 yards with two par five holes. The first two holes run along Hwy 267 then the course meanders through groves of Jeffrey pine trees then ends with views of Lake Tahoe. They have a driving range and a pro shop as well as a bar and grill. Old Brockway is a great nine hole mountain course and offers a good experience for all golfers alike.

The golf course at Northstar is an 18 hole par 72 course designed by Robert Muir Graves. The back nine and the front nine play like different golf courses. The nine holes that play toward Hwy 267 have flatter and longer holes. The other nine sprawl through towering pines and is a little more hilly. They have a full bar, driving range and club house with a pro shop. They offer season passes and lessons.

The Squaw Creek Golf Course is located at The Resort at Squaw Creek in Squaw Valley. This is a very challenging golf course and takes precision strikes and lay ups to score well. It is 18 holes with par of 71 and covers 6931 yards. The course winds through pine trees on the side of the mountain and through a marshy flat area.

Ponderosa Golf Course is located just outside of Truckee, CA near Sierra Meadows and the Truckee River Regional Park is close by. This is a 9 hole course with a par of 35 covering 3022 yards from the longest tees. They have club and cart rentals, practice greens, chipping greens, a pro shop, a snack bar and driving nets. Their green fees and season passes are very reasonable.
Grays Crossing is located on the North East side of Truckee off of Hwy 89. It is named after Joseph Gray who founded Truckee in 1863. The golf course was designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy.

Coyote Moon is located on the west side of Truckee off of Northwoods Blvd just before you reach Tahoe Donner. This is a challenging course and has spectacular views not only from hole to hole but also of the surrounding mountains. One nice thing is that there are not any homes on Coyote Moon. Brad Bell, a former PGA Tour player, designed the course. It consists of 250 acres and has large pine trees, granite outcroppings and Trout Creek runs through it.
The Tahoe Donner Golf Course is located in the center of the Tahoe Donner community. Tahoe Donner is located just west of Truckee. It has great views of the surrounding mountains and wanders through many pine trees, over creeks, and past rock formations. From the black tees the course is just over 7000 yards with a par of 72. They have a great driving range and offer lessons, clinics, cart rentals and club rentals.
